Cindy’s story as a drum maker and drum circle facilitator is a spiritual quest to the roots of her life's purpose.
As a young child, she was introduced to Native American culture on a museum trip. Thirty years later, she found herself in a drum making workshop in a local book store. That life changing moment introduced her to her mentor, Judy Rhodes, who spent the next several years introducing her to ceremonies and the Sacred way of making drums. For over 25 years, Cindy has led Sacred drum making workshops through her company Drumheart and helped hundreds of people birth their Sacred sound. Today she is also a Chaplain with Interfaith-CommUNITY of Mesa,AZ and practices drum circle facilitation in that capacity. Drumming Circles are back! Cindy has been a licensed massage therapist/Reiki practitioner for over 20 years, and offers energy healing sessions, where she plays the ancient sounds of nature on her flutes, singing bowls, tuning forks, drums and rattles. Some early mornings find her playing for horses, the deer people, and the bird tribes who live wild. They listen! Writing her songs, recording her music, and sharing the solace they bring to other living souls are her next step. Wishing peace, through her music, quiet reverence and deep solitude, brings her joy. Cindy lives in Mesa, Arizona, with views to mountains, desert and the ancient red rocks.
